Mission

To become a center that conducts interdisciplinary research and applied projects in the fields of cyber defense and security, contributes to national and international knowledge, standards, and patent development in this area, and produces solutions to cyber defense and security problems both in Turkey and internationally.

To increase the visibility of university research at national and international levels by organizing awareness-raising activities in the field of cybersecurity such as conferences, seminars, courses, summer schools, and workshops, and by sharing accumulated knowledge and experience in the field.

To support cybersecurity education activities at undergraduate and graduate levels through research and laboratory facilities, and to enrich the educational environment by ensuring that research outputs contribute to and strengthen educational processes.

To become a center of attraction in cybersecurity, providing opportunities for young researchers to work in this field, helping to address the shortage of qualified human resources needed in our country, and increasing employment opportunities for graduates.

To collaborate with national and international institutions and organizations on cybersecurity and cyber defense issues, and to develop projects through cooperation among universities, public institutions, and the private sector.

To contribute to the development of cybersecurity educational materials that can be used at various levels of education.

To serve as a bridge between different disciplines within the field of cybersecurity and contribute to interdisciplinary studies in this area.
