METU SIMER (Cyber Security Research and Application Center)
was established in 2019 with the aim of supporting interdisciplinary education and research activities in the field of cybersecurity, which has become indispensable with the rapid development of technology today, and of enhancing our country’s knowledge base and R&D capabilities in cyber defense and security through the use of the most up-to-date technologies.
SIMER also supports public cybersecurity awareness activities and promotes collaboration with the cybersecurity industry and related organizations in order to respond to national and international demands in the field.
